Delay and horizontal: the two settings people skip
Most people set strength and stop there. If your spray still is not right, the answer is usually in these two settings.
Recoil Delay
Delay is how many milliseconds the tool waits between corrections. It has to match the weapon's fire rate.
Too low and the tool corrects faster than the gun fires, making the crosshair jitter between shots. Too high and corrections arrive late, letting the first few rounds climb.

The tell for a wrong delay: your spray is tight and then suddenly scatters.
Horizontal Strength
Most weapons do not only climb; after a few rounds they start bending sideways. Horizontal compensation cancels that drift.
To find it, get vertical strength right first. Then if your cluster is stretched to one side rather than round, you need horizontal. Start at 1 and work up.
The value is usually small — between 1 and 4. If you find yourself above 6, something else is wrong.
Horizontal Variation
This setting deliberately adds a little randomness to the compensating movement.
Why would anyone intentionally reduce precision? Because perfectly uniform movement is machine movement. A human never traces exactly the same path twice.
A variation of 1–2 has no practical effect on your accuracy but keeps your movement signature human.
Tuning order
Order matters, because these interact:
- Strength first, to cancel the vertical climb
- Delay next, to match the fire rate
- Horizontal next, to remove the sideways drift
- Variation last, set to 1 or 2
